Fishing Reports -2012
April 15
- High water kept the river unfishable for almost two weeks. The river finally dropped into shape last Saturday the 7th. The fishing started off slow until Tuesday when they came into the river in large numbers. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were very good with things slowing down a bit on Friday because of a large ocean swell. The swell laid down on Saturday and the fish poured in again with many boats landing two or three fish and some as many as eight. This Spring run was predicted to be one of the largest we have had in many years and it is looking like the predictions may be correct. If you are wanting to eat the finest salmon in the world I still have some days available.
